Tag Rehearsal Mark
Version 01.05.00
Added 20 Aug 2005 (last updated 24 Jun 2012)
For use with Sibelius 4
This plug-in adds a piece of Technique text at the same location as any Rehearsal Marks in the score. Note that it will not tag text objects made of Rehearsal Mark text, but only Rehearsal Mark objects.
The purpose of the tag is to provide a label that can be \'gone to\' using the Find command.
The tag consists of the Rehearsal Mark label and an optional prefix. So if you had marks A, B, and C, in bars 2, 3, and 4, and the prefix was ~RM, bar 2 would get the text ~RMA, bar 3 ~RMB, and bar 4 ~RMC. Use Find on ~RM to go to those bars.
Run the plug-in again to update changed rehearsal marks, but if extensive changes have been made, it might be best to remove existing tags before re-running.
You can use the plug-in to remove (untag) the Rehearsal Marks later. It cannot actually delete the text tags, but it can either set them blank, or to a single text of your choosing. The latter is suggested, because you can set them to the same text (such as ~DeleteMe), and filter that text and delete them all at once.
For Sibelius 5, use the downloadable Go To plugin or Find Rehearsal Mark plugin instead.
