There are no additional sound sets for Sibelius 6 as they are all included in the program.
Sibelius Sound Set Editor
The Sibelius Sound Set Editor is a free application for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS X 10.4 or later that allows you to create sound sets for Sibelius 5 or later.

The following additional sound sets are currently available for download for Sibelius 5.2:

18 April 2008 – a version of the Essentials sound set that only contains the General MIDI sounds
Note that downloading a sound set does not make these sounds available to you. Trying to use a sound set for a device or sample library that you do not own will produce incorrect playback and other error messages.
Installing a sound set
To install a sound set:
- Download the sound set you want, and extract the archive.
- One or more XML files (e.g. Sibelius Essentials.xml) will be extracted.
- Copy the XML file or files to the following folders:
- Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Application Data\Sibelius Software\Sibelius 5\Sounds
- Windows Vista: C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\Sibelius Software\Sibelius 5\Sounds
- Mac OS X: /Users/your username/Library/Application Support/Sibelius Software/Sibelius 5/Sounds
(You may have to create the Sibelius 5 and Sounds folders yourself.)
To use this sound set inside Sibelius, use the Play > Playback Devices dialog. See 4.10 Playback devices in Help > Sibelius Reference for more details.
