539: The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk

When you run Sibelius 5.0 under a different user account to that which you used to install it, you may receive the following error message:

"The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available.
Insert the 'Sibelius 5' disk and click OK."

This happens when the installer for Sibelius 5 creates a particular kind of shortcut called an "advertised shortcut". When you double-click this shortcut, before the program runs it checks the installed components to make sure that they're all there, and if it's not, it prompts you to install them from the original installation media.

Unfortunately, some of the components that it checks for are located in the original user account, and so appear to be missing when run from the new user account.

We have resolved this issue in all subsequent versions of Sibelius 5, the latest of which is available as a free update for registered Sibelius 5 users.
