409: Crashes with Dell SB live 5.1 soundcard

Sibelius crashes if you have Kontakt installed and also have a Dell OEM SB Live 5.1 digital or Bulk 5.1 digital soundcard under Windows XP. This is caused by the deficiencies in the Dell OEM sound card driver. If you experience this, you need to download updated drivers for your soundcard, as follws:

• Go to http://us.creative.com/support/downloads (NOTE: if you are not in the USA you should still go to this link as the drivers are not on the other international sites yet)
• Select Sound Blaster > Live! > Live! 5.1 Digital (Dell) and press Next and then press the Go button.
• In the list will be the Creative Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 Digital (Dell) Driver Update version 5.12.1.204 (2.46 MB) dated 17th Sep 04.
• Click on Download Now to the right.
• Agree to the terms and conditions, after reading them thoroughly, and the download will then begin.
• Save the downloaded file to you hard drive and run it.
