311: Hewlett Packard Laserjet 5 printer - can only print a few pages at a time
Some of the drivers for HP's older, unsupported printer models contain a memory leak. This is a bug that may prevent some items from printing correctly in long scores. The symptoms of this problem are that generally the score will print fine for a few pages, but then pages will begin to print with items (such as noteheads, lines, etc.) missing.
The solution appears to be to download the latest drivers for another (still supported) printer in HP's range from their web site at www.hp.com. One user reports good results with the latest version of the HP 1200 se PCL 5e driver.
