I need to export a video file with sibelius 7 first but it wont allow me as it says it does not contain any virtual instruments.

any ideas?

You can't export audio, and thus video, since it depends on the audio, if you use General MIDI as the sound set, as GM does not contain virtual instruments, which Sibelius uses when exporting audio. If you change the playback configuration to use Sibelius First Sounds, you will be able to export video.

hi i had the same issue and i change to sibelius 7 sound. but when i wanna list there is no sound from the video, what should i do???

Is this on Windows or on macOS?
What version of that operating system?
What version number of Sibelius is this?
If you playback the score with Playback Configuration "Sibelius 7 Sounds", does it playback correctly?
If you take the exported video file to another computer, and play the video there, do you get sound?
