Figured bass is not working too well for me. When I type, for example, 6, 4 and 2, I get six hundred and forty-two. Hell of a stretch.

What am I doing wrong?

After each number, press "Enter":6,enter,4,enter,2.To go to the next number:"space".

John, if you simply take a moment to look up 'figured bass' in the index of the User Guide (the Sibelius 3 one at least) you will find it tells you this.

Yes, I think my version 3 is in the post. My mistake was looking it up in the manual for the version I'm actually using.
